Lame & Duck

LAME = I was crushed yesterday to find out that the lake community that I live in is placing an herbacide in the lake to kill the beautiful lillypads.
DUCK = I went out to take some pictures today of the lilly pads before they are all gone and dead. I'll get some more shots in tomorrow from the other side of the lake. Today the ducks showed up to share their support for the continued existance of the pads. Nobody is listening to us though, we're just a bunch of out of towners and a lame duck.
